Science is all about the world around us and our responsibility to care for that world. Science curriculum in the middle school deals with physics and chemistry in eighth grade, which puts a focus on the fundamental laws that govern our world and how matter and energy make up everything we interact with around us. Seventh grade science focuses on living things and the environment, allowing the students to understand how all organisms are similar and how the world around us is the shared responsibility of all who live in it. Sixth grade students learn about the Earth from a geological standpoint as well as learning about the Universe around us, seeing the relationship between the way our planet works and the way everything in the Universe works.
