Tampa Catholic High School

Curriculum

The St. Jude technology lab has access to the newest hardware and software. Students learn computer programming which teaches them problem solving skills, logic, perseverance, confidence, rational thinking, debugging, cooperation, and communication skills. In computer class, students learn practical applications that help them research and develop concepts from science, language arts, and other classes. We also utilize Google Classroom and the Google Office suite which includes word processing, data sheets and presentation tools at a grade-appropriate level adding new skills each year. Students learn an appreciation for technology as a tool for learning and expressing ideas — not an end unto itself.
